A traditional 16th-century country pub set in the historic village of Newdigate; family-owned and family-run.
Since September 2023 Brad and Charlotte have been the proud owners of the Six Bells. Based at the heart of the village in Newdigate, between Dorking and Horsham, we are situated in a charming village setting surrounded by beautiful countryside. Serving homemade, freshly cooked, traditional food & local ales we have ample parking for all to visit us.
Family and dog-friendly throughout you can choose to eat and drink in our pub’s cosy bar and restaurant, with two log-burning fires, or enjoy our extensive garden, with two patio seating areas and ample bench seating to while away the hours. General Manager Owen and Head Chef Charlie are excited to welcome you to the Six Bells as it’s rejuvenated to be the beloved village country pub and the true heart of the village once again.

Our fresh-food menus are expertly created by Head Chef Charlie. With A la Carte menus launched twice yearly our food is always fresh and seasonal, and we pride ourselves on using local produce as much as possible. With specific Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan menus also available we can accommodate everyone.
You will also find a varied selection of real ales and craft beers at the bar hand selected by owner Brad and General Manager Owen, as well as an extensive wine list and other spirits available. If you are not sure what you might like – just ask! Our friendly team are always more than happy to help however they can.

The Six Bells is the perfect location to catch up with friends and family over a delicious lunch or dinner, enjoy a traditional Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, have a business meeting, or relax with a drink, but we also have a variety of perfect spaces for private dining and events too. From full pub hire for weddings and parties, to smaller more intimate private dining parties, we can accommodate everyone with options and opportunities to suit all shapes and sizes.
